„I am interested in people and their dynamics of opening up and closing off. My topic: How can knowledge be conveyed in an aesthetic way and what significance do identity and identification have in this? This knowledge also includes, for example, body knowledge, taste, cultural imprint and age. As a mediator, I also come into contact with my own and others' lack of knowledge.“
Wiebke Dröge works in the fields of contemporary dance and performance art. She accompanies and advises creative professionals in project and theater positions as well as with her own formats. For over twelve years, she has been a choreographer for dance productions with teenagers, has written book contributions and is still active in the field of dance education. Artistic projects include the solo exhibition sit with it, Künstlerhaus Mousonturm, 2022, and the performative radio show N_CHTS KOMMT RAUS at the festival Politik im Freien Theater, Museum Kommunikation Frankfurt, 2022.
