Bianca Kruppa
"'Encounters take place in the space between us.' These words by Martin Buber have been with me for many years and are an important part of my artistic dance practice. For me, encounters are the starting point for socially engaged art. The spaces that are created are diverse and full of movement. As a mediator in the New Patrons model, their active participation is particularly important to me."
Bianca Kruppa is an artist working at the interface between dance and community. Away from the big cities, she lives and works in rural Bavaria, where she is dedicated to the question of how dance can enrich the cultural diversity of the region. She is a co-founder of Falsche Farm – a place for encounters, creation and cooperation on a farm – and is currently studying for a Master's degree in Dance: Participation, Communities, Activism at the London Contemporary Dance School.
